We are two friends, from very different parts of the world, and MSc in International Development
We met in 2018, while we were studying a MSc in International Development at The University of Manchester, in the UK. After finishing our studies, our curiosity and desire to keep discussing issues related to development, but from a less academic perspective, gave us the motivation to start this blog. Enjoy it!
Basheera has a BSc in Business Administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a MSc in International Development from The University of Manchester. She has worked in project operations and management roles in the public sector and in multilateral organizations in Qatar. Her interests include governance and institutions, gender, political economy among others. She lives between India, GCC and UK.


Bernardita has a BSc in Economics from the University of Chile and a MSc in International Development: Development Management from The University of Manchester. She has worked in the government of Chile and in different research centres, in project management and impact evaluation. She lives in Chile.
